About our Extension maths worded problem sheets

For primary school-aged students who may benefit from an additional challenge in maths, the questions in Matharoo’s Extension Level worded maths problem sheets will fill the bill perfectly.

Matharoo’s Extension Level has been created with worded maths problems that are considerably more challenging and demanding to accelerate the skills and vocabulary of more capable maths students. With the use of more complex – but still primary school-appropriate – mathematical questions and reasoning, the Extension Maths Worded Problem Sheets build the mathematical skills and vocabulary of high-performing primary school maths students.

These questions are written specifically to exercise various maths skills including percentages, accounts, fractions, speed and velocity.
